About us
Atlantic Integrated Water Utility Consultants (AIWUC) is committed to providing all communities with the experience they need to operate water and wastewater treatment facilities.
Our dedicated team focuses on water and wastewater management services, technical capacity building, construction management, commissioning oversight, and direct operations services to a variety of clients; including municipalities, indigenous communities, industries, government agencies and private owners of infrastructure.
History
In 2018, AIWUC was established to fill a need that was recognized by system owners, municipalities, regulatory agencies, and related parties to assist with operational services and capital project development for water and wastewater treatment systems.
Since then we have grown to offer extended services to meet the needs of our clients, which has included direct operation and operational support of treatment sytems and related components. We have worked with communities to fill gaps in staffing, conduct sampling and reporting, or assist with construction upgrades necessary to address regulatory concerns, including boil water advisories.
What we do
AIWUC staff provide a diverse experience profile that includes engineering design, construction, troubleshooting, and technical capacity building that creates a complete infrastructure lifecycle perspective.
Our knowledge of infrastructure lifecycle features, combined with regulatory processes and technical expertise, can bring value to many owners and developers of critical assets. Our clients include municipalities, private developers, institutions, industries, governments, and Indigenous communities from around the Atlantic region and beyond.
